Hinged Fire Doors

A proven fire protection rate of 2.5 hours, manufactured to SANS 1253:2003 (version 3), and rigorously tested by the SABS throughout the years. Compared to conventional fire doors, Tridor fire doors have a number of significant benefits. Both our  single fire doors and our double fire door assemblies have test reports available.

Only 29kg per standard size panel, Tridor fire doors are lightweight and simple to install. They are produced in a variety of sizes and veneer types to complement current surfaces.

A specially built 1,6 mm steel frame with a 25 mm rebate, together with 1.5 pairs of brass hinges, is included with the purchase of  Tridor fire doors. It is possible to construct frames to meet any wall needs, including existing ones.

Door Finishes

Depending on the needs of the customer, doors can be covered in a wide range of finishes, such as Masonite, Sapele Veneer, Commercial Veneer, White Oak Veneer, Walnut Formica, and many others.

All double doors have meeting stiles and slambars installed.

Again, depending on the needs of the customer, a class “D” fire door is completed with either veneer on the exterior side and concealed steel cladding or steel cladding on the exterior side.
